SESSION INFORMATION

Overrall the sessions primary focus is to:

Challenge potential misconceptions young people have regarding crime. For example, attitudes that crime is glamorous and is an easy way of making money etc.

The sessions focus on the true cost of an offending lifestyle (both short and long term) and look at the impact this will likely have upon self, family and communities.

The sessions also focus from a more criminal perspective supported by case studies, individual ‘mentor’ examples and DVD’s (made with offenders). The exercises used have also been developed in partnership with offenders and ex offenders.

*Most sessions will be supported by a DVD to reinforce the message
